Professional Daydreamer

So we basically spent the whole day at the ER. Fortunately, we learned that she’s getting better and the pain is just part of the healing process. We also got a prescription for pain medication, but of course the pharmacies were closed by the time we got out. orz

I’m so relieved, though. Last night I got really scared again and had to sleep with mom because I kept imagining waking up to find her dead in the morning. x_x

I think I well deserve a day at the carnival tomorrow though, hahaha.

I am literally wearing three sweaters and have two blankets on. WHY IS IT SO COLD HERE.

Goddamn I hate the ER. x_x When are we gonna get out of here…

FUCK mom just said she might need to go to the ER in the morning because it’s starting to hurt to breathe.  Going to bed now just in case…

I’m a little worried for mom.  She’s been doing a whole lot better this week, but today she started having pain in her chest again, and she said it’s only getting worse instead of better.  So far we’ve scheduled an appointment with a doctor on Monday morning (that’s the earliest we could get), but I hope it’s nothing serious…

I hope onlygurrens is still alive in October because I think Halloween would be fun.  :<

Okay, so it turns out next week my client is on Spring Break, which means extended work hours.  They want me to work 10 AM-8 PM Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and I’m taking Tuesday off because it’s a bit much otherwise.

So if we’re going to have a thread for Garlock’s birthday, can we have it on Tuesday instead?  x__x  Because I don’t know if I’ll have the energy to RP Wednesday night.  I mean, I just pulled the date out of my ass in the first place so I don’t think it really matters, right?  Ahaha…

Mom was discharged from the hospital today!!!  \o/  I’m still going to stay at home with her all this week though because she’s still weak and I don’t feel right leaving her alone.  But I’m exhausted now from cleaning the house and shopping for stuff and driving back and forth from the hospital all day. @_@  And I do believe I’ve spent nearly $100 just buying food for myself over the past week, ahaha…

But I’m glad she can eat, talk, laugh, and walk a little now!

Well, mom’s just sleeping now, and I’ve got nothing to do, so I guess I’ll RP a little.

They don’t have to remove her gallbladder, thank god. It’s just pneumonia and a urinary infection, so they’re treating that. It’ll probably take at least a week for her to recover. She’s still miserable, but at least she doesn’t have to have surgery, and they’re letting her eat and drink again now.

Okay so mom came home last night really really sick and after a few hours I called 911. The ambulance took her to the ER and we stayed there overnight, and no thanks to the awful night shift nurse she got worse and started coughing blood, so they moved her to the hospital in the morning. She seemed to be better by the afternoon, so I went home for a few hours to shower and get her some things. But on the way back to the hospital, they called me to say they moved her to ICU because her blood pressure dropped.

That was a few hours ago. Now they just brought her back from a CT scan so they can finally figure out what’s wrong with her, but they were sayings he might be septic. God no I hope not. It’s probably some kind of infection either way…I’ve never seen her this sick before. I’ve been crying constantly, had barely any sleep, I’ve never been so scared in my life.

I called off work today and tomorrow, maybe the rest of the week too depending on how things turn out. I might be online via iPad just out of a lack of things to do, but I might not be in the mood for anything besides lurking. So that’s my situation for now.

I woke up to my computer turned off and I kept trying to turn it on but it wouldn’t turn on and I was freaking out because what if it died and I couldn’t save everything omg not again!!!

But then I plugged it into a different outlet and then I was able to turn it on??  And it looks like there’s nothing wrong???  o______O;

I don’t get it but…I’m glad it’s back…  *hugs computer*

Oh god this epic music lol…I guess it doesn’t really have as much impact unless you suffer through all eight episodes after all. XD But I’m never doing THAT again.

I still get that same feeling of “Fuck you, Kadokawa” at the very end though. XD

Oh god, going from the 2nd Endless Eight episode straight to the 8th is kinda hilarious? Because Mikuru’s blubbering and crying is suddenly so over the top ahahahaha.

OMG, everything wonderful is coming back in April.  Seriously.  Game of Thrones Season 2.  The second half of Fate/Zero.  And now Legend of Korra!!!

But oh shit, April 14 at 11 AM is right during the Cherry Blossom Street Festival!!  D:  And oh shit, I’m working during that time every Saturday after AGHHHH.

I HOPE MY CLIENT WILL ENJOY WATCHING IT WITH ME…..

Sure!  She’s from this illustration by Yoshinari in the Nia photobook:

In the comments, Nia basically explains that it’s another possible AU in which she fights against Team Gurren on her father’s side (it’s implied she thinks they’re the bad guys) using her own custom-built Gunmen.  (This was the first appearance of Solvernia in any form and long before she was actually named.)

Because she was created by Yoshinari, Japanese fandom knows her as “Yoshinari Nia” and generally characterizes her as a violent tsundere.  My headcanon for her is pulled from a fic I was working on (but haven’t properly started yet); she’s basically pre-timeskip Nia plus a year of intense training and daddy issues up the wazoo.

So yeah, I am playing Pilot Nia.  Because I wanted a female character and I already had the account from when I played her on gurrendressing years ago.

She comes very naturally to me so far and I’m enjoying her, so she might become a main?  :O  I dunno, maybe I just have a thing for AU characters created by Yoshinari…
