Toonami tonight! I actually already saw the first episodes of Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins when they first came out as subs, but I’ll watch them again just to support the block! If it does well, maybe they’ll pick up Tiger & Bunny and Panty & Stocking eventually!! /wishful thinking
And I guess I’m mildly curious to see the rest of Deadman Wonderland…
So I got out my Pokewalker because I want to use it in New York, but I discovered that its battery had died (I haven’t used it in quite a while). D: Fortunately, we had a spare watch battery lying around! And so I brought out my Winry tool set (that I bought at a convention forever ago), unscrewed the Pokewalker, and replaced the battery! \o/
Seriously, that Winry tool set is the most useful piece of merchandise ever. It’s come in handy SO many times. *__*

Planning out this trip is making me so excited omg. :D
So as you might have noticed, I’ve gone into lurker mode lately, which is something that I tend to do now and then. >.> I’m still alive and well, I’ve just been more focused on Real Life and pouring my creativity into writing my original stories.
There’s been a couple of threads in onlygurrens that I would have liked to participate in, but it’s hard to get my RP muse running again, and I feel kinda hesitant considering it’s been so long since I last RPed. .__.; I’ve fallen hopelessly behind on keeping up with it too… I do miss it though.
Anyway, mom and I will be going to New York this Sunday & Monday. I predict the trip will mostly consist of us shopping for and pigging out on Japanese food, and maybe hanging out in Central Park. Our hotel is right by Kinokuniya and we’ll be going to Mitsuwa Marketplace in New Jersey, so if anyone wants me to pick up some Japanese books/manga for them, please let me know! I actually don’t have anything in particular that I want to buy this time, but it feels like a waste to go and not buy something, ahaha.

Omg people should not write Tiger & Bunny as “Taibani” because I just read that as “Taliban.”
The little show that could! The Legend of Korra was the #1 scripted cable program last week. It happens to be an animated Nickelodeon series that features a woman of color in the lead role.
More people watched Korra than watched Game of Thrones (the second place scripted show.) While GoT has an HBO premium cable audience, that is still pretty damn impressive.
